We’re listing some of our favorite, underrated keyboard shortcuts so you could also use your browser like a pro!

  1. Re-open recently closed tab
No shame in having so many tabs open that you accidentally close an important one. We’ve all been there. To open a recently closed tab press COMMAND + SHIFT + T on Mac and CTRL + SHIFT + T on Windows.
  2. Open link in a new tab
We can’t count how many times we’ve accidentally left an important page because of a link we thought would open in another tab. It’s a hassle to have to right click and select the “Open Link in New Tab” option from the dropdown list. An easy solution is to hold down the COMMAND on Mac or CTRL on Windows then click the link. It’s foolproof, we promise.

BONUS:
Did you know that you can pin tabs? That’s right. For all the slightly disorganized netizens out there, this hack is for you! Simply right click on the tab you want to save and click “Pin Tab”. It will automatically move to the left side of the browser and it will stay there, displaying the favicon (or URL icon) so you’ll know what website is open. The exit tab button will also be hidden so you can’t close it on accident.
